I am currently a 4th year medical student at the Edward Via Virgnia College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM). I grew up in Houghton, MI; a small town in the Upper Peninsula. The photo above depicts this place wonderfully.
From there I attended the University of Michigan where I received my BS with Honors in Biopsychology and then went on to medical school in Blacksburg, VA where I am currently studying. Eventually I’d like to pursue a career in pediatrics.
I’ve been married since August 16, 2008. I have one younger sister who is currently attending Case Western law school. My parents still live in Houghton, where my father is a professor in Electrical Engineering at Michigan Technological University.
I’m an avid sports fan and am always watching ESPN. I consistently cheer for the Chicago Bulls, Green Bay Packers, and Michigan Wolverines. Like most people, I enjoy spending time with friends, watching movies, and relaxing trips.
